Personhood Alliance welcomes its 27th affiliate, Personhood Texas

The Personhood Alliance board of directors voted unanimously on November 13, 2020, to accept the application of Personhood Texas to become part of the Personhood Alliance, raising the number of its affiliate organizations across the country to 27. As the fastest growing pro-life organization in the nation, the Personhood Alliance credits its rapid growth to their principled, Biblical approach—one with which Personhood Texas has confirmed its alignment.
“Personhood Texas upholds the Biblical worldview of God’s design for life, marriage, family, sexuality and gender,” notes Kristi Van Eaton, board member of Personhood Texas. “We will pursue personhood as the essential strategy to protect every human life, from conception to natural death. And as Texas leads the nation in the destruction of life and dignity through human trafficking, we strive to put an end to this 21st-century slavery. Personhood Texas promotes the value of human life, and this principal of value comes from the understanding of who is the Author of life—our Lord Jesus Christ.”
“Personhood is a legal strategy, a moral philosophy, and a cultural movement that’s rooted in both faith and reason,” explains Les Riley, interim president of the Personhood Alliance. “Personhood offers a consistent defense against all direct attacks on human life and human dignity that have happened, are happening, and will happen in the future. It is this consistency, this uncompromising position, that is attracting people around the nation to join the movement. And we are blessed and excited to have the great state of Texas join us on the battlefield.”
